2009年11月11日，由中华人民共和国住房和城乡建设部主办，住房城乡建设部住宅产业化促进、中国房地产产业协会、中国建筑文化、北京住房和城乡建设委员会承办的“第八届中国国际住宅产业博览会”（简称“住博会”），在北京国家会议隆重举行。住房城乡建设部党组成员、副部长陈大为出席开幕式。住房和城乡建设部总经理师李秉仁出席开幕式并致辞。作为住博会的战略合作伙伴及“明日之家”系列活动的执行承办单位，房地产门户网站搜房网将全程提供住博会现场报道。此次住博会也吸引了众多国内的部品商参展。
